Stephen Ibrahim Agya a glimpse!
HON. STEPHEN IBRAHIM AGYA was born on the 8th September, 1976 in Bissaula Kurmi LGA of Taraba State a community his parent held from.
He started his early education at Bissaula Central Primary School, moved to Sabon Gida Primary School and Mayo Ndaga Primary School and he finally obtained his First School Leaving Certificate at Demonstration Primary School Mubi.
Agya attended Government Technical College Mubi, Government Science Secondary school Hong and GSS Toungo where he got his WAEC in 1995, in all these schools attended his academic performances were excellence.
He proceeded to college for Legal Studies Yola were he obtained his diploma in Law. His love for education saw him further to Adekunle Ajasin University in Ondo state where he obtained BSc in criminology .
He worked as a veterinary attendant with Sardauna local government in 1996 and Kurmi local government in 1997 respectively. He later worked with the DSS where he obtained a working experience of about 10years.
He was SA Security to Ondo State government for 5yrs and Political Aide to the then Minister of state Niger Delta, Arc Darius Dickson Ishaku now our amiable Governor.
Stephen was appointed the state coordinator National Youth Vanguard Taraba State chapter by the then President Goodluck Jonathan, a post he delivered well, he was the state youth Director of Darius Dickson Ishaku campaign organization, a task he performed well with a celebrated victory.
After the victory of the 2015 general elections, he was appointed as care taker chairman of Kurmi LGA and ALGON chairman Taraba State.
On 28th February 2017, Agya was sworn in as elected chairman of Kurmi LGA and again ALGON chairman Taraba State and Assistant National Publicity Secretary of ALGON in Nigeria.
HON STEPHEN IBRAHIM AGYA is a CRIMINOLOGIST by discipline, an administrator per excellence, a security expert, a politician by calling, a philanthropist, a man of repute worthy of emulation and a politician to watch.
