SENATOR DANJUMA LA’AH EXPRESSES CONFIDENCE ON THE NIGERIAN YOUTHS

The Senator representing Southern Kaduna Senatorial District in the National Assembly has joined other well meaning Nigerians in debunking the assertion that Nigerian youths are lazy, the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Poverty Alleviation and Social Welfare stated this in an interaction session with Journalists at Lagos recently. Chief Dr.Danjuma expressed confidence in the Nigerian youths by saying they have been part of his success story as a Businessman and Hotelier. In his words ” what the Nigerian youths need is a conducive atmosphere to operate and showcase their talents instead of outright condemnation and systematic rejection”.The respected Senator who is the only representative of the North- West in the opposition Party st the Red Chamber advised the upper class to set up businesses and cottage industries to cater for the country’s youths who are intelligent, industrious and doing the country great in the comity of nations.The Senator was proud to have been close to the youths over the years and expressed his confidence in their talents.Having met them in different countries of the world by holding conferences and talks, the Deputy Chairman of the Senate Committee on National Planning said Southern Kaduna youths are the best that he came across in life in his entire life.The Senator revealed in the Media Chat that his Committee is planning to touch the youths positively with empowerment schemes very soon in order to engage them in meaningful ventures.The Shettiman Kagoro admonished the youths to be patient and continue to do their best in all areas of the economy,he warned the system to be careful in treating matters of the youths as the army of the unemployed is becoming alarming on daily basis.
