I, the chairman of John Pofi Movement organisation and the entire team wish to condole the Christendom particularly the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, the Asake family and the government and people of Kaduna state over the untimely and painful exit of Rev Musa Asake, CAN General Secretary.

When I first met him, I discovered a humble personality, a teacher, a father, a mentor and a peace maker who was dedicated to the service of God and humanity.

It is sad that today I am talking about Rev Asake in past tense especially at a time when the Christendom, the nation and the world need him most.

This death calls for unity within the Christendom as well as intensified prayers like never before in the face of increasing attacks on Christians which the late cleric died fighting.

We must continue with the struggle from where the CAN Scribe stopped and ensure a total liberation of the Christendom from the hands of those who are bent on causing division among us.

God has the power to stop this death, but since He allowed it, I pray He uncover the purpose to us.

As a believer, I have no iota of doubt that the Reverend gentleman is resting in the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Adiue my beloved father and Mentor.

Signed :

Amb John Pofi, JP

Chairman, John Pofi Movement organisation.
