The Inspector General of Police Ibrahim Kpatum on Saturday laid the foundation stone for the building of Police boarding Secondary School in Tum, Jema’a Local Government area of Kaduna State.
“My joy knows no bound as I witnessed this foundations tone laying ceremony on the permanent site if the Police Boarding Secondary School, Tum-Kagoro even as I am obliged to announce that Police authorities have also approved the sitting of Police Children Primary School in Kafanchan, Jema’a Local Government which in no distance time the congregation will again assemble to witnessed the foundation-Stone laying of the Police Children Primary School for the gift of this two Schools in a single tranche.
Communities in Southern Kaduna pledge our unflinching support to the Inspector General of Police (IGP) and the entire Police Force to ensuring the maintenance of law and order and the protection of public infrastructure/facilities in our zone,” Laah said.
He therefore urged all groups to cooperate with the Police and other Security agencies in their efforts toward maintaining law and order for crime-free Society that will enhance good governance and national progress.
According to him, wider openings for tertiary education will be created through these additional Schools adding, the authorities have increased the prospects of enhancing human capacity building in the Zone.
“We have unfettered opportunity in this zone through these two Schools, to give our Children and future generations quality education that competes with global standards.” Laah maintained.
Performing the grand laying Ceremony, The Inspector General of Police who was represented by the Area Commandant Kafanchan Mr Kayode Sunday said, the Police Secondary School is an initiative that cannot be change in the political atmosphere.
He noted that, a good politician is someone who lives a legacy that will be beneficial to the future generations. All the good things he has done are on capacity building.
He urged the Communities in Southern Kaduna to jealously guide the property to enhance smooth floor of quality education in the zone.
The Chief of Agwatyap in his good will message congratulated Senator Laah for his giant strides in bringing this marvelous project that will benefit generations to his People.
“It’s has always been in his character long before he become a Senator, he is the largest employer of labour in this part of the World. If we have six of his type Southern Kaduna will be transformed.
According to him,” We thank God we are doing this in an atmosphere of peace. Sometimes last year it would have become unthinkable,” He conclude.
