Today’s service in living faith church mile six behind Jolly Nyame Stadius it was glorious service tagged “End of the Month thanksgiving service and dedication service as well as covenant day of all round rest “with the theme of the month as”wisdom makes high flier”
A service well attended with over a capacity of 1500 worshippers filled to capacity with all the church overflows were filled.
The first service which starts with praise and worship led by the choir welcoming the glorious presence of the Holy Spirit which is made manifest in high praises bringing down the glory of God.
Pastor Gowon which took the service call to worship in the book of Psalm 23:1-6, where he read the verses in consonant with the church members. In like manner Pst Jame Alo the assistant presiding resident pastor of the church led the prayer session where his prayer point was anchored on God intervention on all evil conspiracies and conspirators against our nation Nigeria. A prayer the church prayed fervently interceding for her nation against the menace of the herdsmen wanton killing in Benue and other states of the federation.
The service which witnessed harvest of testimonies for what the Lord has done in the lives of its member. One Martha Philip who testified to the goodness of God in the lives of her brother who was hid by a runaway driver but God delivered him, she went further to returned glory to God for delivering her mother from a deadly stroke.
She said” God delivered my brother and mother all from dead, it all happened when my mum was attacked by stroke and my pastors both in mile six and Canaan land prayed and cancelled death over their lives”
One who testified to the glory of God where he said, God sent him divine helpers when he was wrongly imprisoned for a crime he didnt commit in Jalingo and was later transfered to Karim Lamido Prison where he received help for his release.
According to his testimonies” I was attacked in Mallam Jido by thugs who charted away the sum of two hundred thousand naira (#200,000) from me. I was hospitalised for the beatings and the shocks I received, to God be the glory I was later discharged. On reporting the incident to my boss, he quickly picked me up to the prison in Jalingo, were I was later transfered to Karim Lamido without trial, but as God will make it some corp members visited the prison on a faithful day and paid for my release, I have come to return glory to God.” He said.
The choir who ministered on a song tittled “Jesus You love me too much” a song that draggd many under the influence of the holy spirit to their dancing feet.
After the ministration the presiding resident pastor, Pst Inyang Ndeuso mounted the pulpit with flow of the anointing charging the atmosphere with prayers and thanksgiving for God’s love over the congregation.
The pastor who took his scriptural reading from the book of Deuteronomy 8:7-10 where he said a promised land is a land of commanded blessings. He further stressed that it takes God’s wisdom to enter into the promised land as written in Psalms 10:10, he added.
Pastor Inyang who admonished worshippers to carry each other burdens in prayer as he reads from Gal 6:2 with an illustration to buttressed his sermon, he said “No glass or cup of water that carries water ever gets dry so it is with a believer who bears others burden in prayers”
He tasked Christains to engaged vigorously in a revival by winning souls and reaching out to the downtrodden and the vulnerable in the society to enjoy God’s all round rest as Jesus promises us rest in Mtt11:28.
A sermon he ended with an altar call where many came out to give their lives to Christ and renounce their past ways of living.
