TRAGEDY STROKE TARABA STATE UNIVERSITY AS TREE KILL 3 STUDENTS ON A FIELD TRIP AT Cameroon
The resident of Jalingo and Taraba State University community was thrown into mourning this morning as the sad news of the death of some students who lost their lives on a field trip at Cameroon filtered the air.
The sad event took place at noon of yesterday while in their camp for field trip. It was alleged that a mahogany tree felt on their tents as a result of a thunder storm and whirlwind.
According to an Unconfirmed sources which alleged that, the HOD of the department of Biological science Dr. Robert S. Houmsu is laying unconscious where he’s receiving treatment at an intensive care unit of an undisclosed hospital in Cameron.
Unconfirmed source have it that, three of the university students lost their lives as a result while others are laying in critical condition at the hospital.
According to source, the students are final year students of their department who embarked on a field trip as a perqusite course.
On another sad event that occurred on Friday where a car who lost control at the university gate crushed two female students to dead, who were awaiting to board keke.
