The judgment for the case between Barr. Gloria Mabeiam Ballason Vs the Kaduna State Governor, Malam Nasiru El-rufai was today adjourned till Monday 15th May, 2017. The case is before Justice Esther Lolo of the Kaduna State High Court.

Barr Gloria Ballason had filed a case against the Kaduna State Governor, Malam Nasiru El-rufai through her Lagos based lawyers, Matthew Burkaa & Co for the Enforcement of her Fundamental Human Rights .

The lawyer sued the Governor who had threatened to arrest and prosecute her for her Civil Rights activities including an article which was published in the Blueprint Newspaper of 28th November, 2016. The Governor had announced the plan to arrest her when  A.B. Mahmud SAN, the Nigeria Bar Association’s president and team visited him.

Thursday 11th May, 2017 was slated for the judgment but for reasons best known to the authority, the case has now been adjourned and slated for  judgment on Monday 15th May, 2017.

Barr Gloria Ballason is the CEO of House of Justice, Principal Partner of MIVE LEGALS, is a radio host and a Law columnist with the Blueprint Newspaper. The lawyer has also been active in civil rights matters in the Country and the  region.
