Stephen Ibrahim Agya the incumbent chairman of Kurmi LGA whose deeds are speaking for him now as it clamoured he will represent his people at the green chamber is said to be receiving and enjoying support from the Local governments that constitute the constituency in the House of representatives.
The people of Bessulla, a community the chairman held from paid him a courtesy call in solidarity to his aspiration as well as to show their unalloyed support to their son who is clamoured to throw his weight into contesting the seat of Gashaka, Kurmi and Sardauna Constituency in the House of representatives come 2019.
The elders who arrived the chairman’s residence in their numbers said they have heard from friends and well wishers of their son who is clamoured to throw his weight into contesting the seat of Gashaka, Kurmi and Sardauna Constituency which necessitated the august visit to hear from him as it’s always better they hear the veracity of his aspiration from the host’s mouth Stephen.
One of the elder said” we know the abilities and the capacities of our son Hon. Agya, we know the lives he has touched before joining politics and the lives he has touched even now that he is the LGA chairman, we are proud of him and have come to join our voices to this clamour for his contest to represent the good people of Gashaka, Kurmi and Sardauna Constituency ”
The elders who called on the constituency to support Hon. Ayga come 2019, because he has all the potentials needed to catapult the development of the constituency through viable initiations of bills that will reflect the yearning of the people.
The elders who did not hid their excitement as well reposed confidence on the leadership of Gov. Darius Ishaku as they said he has been running people oriented programmes that has touched the lives of the common man hence they endorsed him for a second term in office.
In a related development, the elders used the visit to appreciate the rescue governor through their son the LGA chairman for his prompt responses in time of distress.
The LGA chairman who took turn to appreciate the elders for finding him worthy as their son, applauded them in their quest to hear from him the clamouring to contest as member House of representatives.
He further reiterated his commitment to serving the people better in that capacity should the opportunity avail itself but pleaded with the elders to allow him more time as he is making wider consultations with friends and his political associates with a promise to duly intimate them when the time is due.
“I am humble by your coming to identify with me as elections and electioneering approaches, your believing in me has indeed energized my commitment and stir up my zeal to doing more but I promise to return back home to properly intimate you of my quest when am done with my consultations and permutations, all I need of you is your blessings and prayers” he said
Hon. Stephen who assured the elders of Darius commitment in securing lives and properties which has been his slogan of “give me peace and I will give you development” to vote overwhelmingly for the governor come 2019.
